How Many Implants are Necessary?

An entire full-arch bridge may require as few as four implants, or six in cases where there’s not adequate bone density. Each of the implants is strategically placed at a key area where the bone quality allows the best support.

Since implants are stronger than natural teeth, they’re capable of withstanding the weight of multiple teeth at a time. That’s what makes it possible to use 4-6 of them to permanently support a full-arch restoration (up to 14 teeth at a time.)
